Ooh, great news! This is the first I'm hearing of it. Very exciting. Fran, I'm so glad that you're planning to write so soon. We could have a new album by next year! And a live cd, that would be fantastic. :)

I know that they've done this sort of gig at least one other time, in Oslo. I think that was either last year or a couple years ago.

Thanks for the new link. I guess we'll be getting a new Travis album around next summer. That is if they have it written ready to record in the new year. So exciting. I imagine it'll be more acoustic what with them being in acoustic mode for the shows. Very exciting. :)

| This sounds terrific!! Not only the way the live sets appear to be planned *green with envy* but also the fact that they'll be working on new tracks during the tour, it's great news!! All hopeful especulation was not that crazy after all :) |

This was the BEST news to wake up to this morning! Ahhhhhhhh!!!! New material, slide show, live CD and DVD!!!!!!! It's too much to take in! lol.
I REALLY hope they put out a DVD. That would be wonderful!!

Hey Ben, remember you told me you hoped Fran and Andy would write the songs for the new album while touring the US? Turns out you were right! :o)
A live CD + DVD sounds AMAZING!!!!!!!
And the whole slideshow thing too. I'm so jealous!
I really wish they'd have the new album ready and would tour Europe around september / october next year... I don't think it's gonna happen this soon, but since I'll be there around that time, it'd be perfect :oP.
