I will say that Ive never been a fan, although I do enjoy a few of his songs. I think Im just a couple years to young to get it, and only remember the crazy stuff, but...ridiculously sad none the less.
Michael Jackson is reportedly dead at 50.

PS- I knew those London shows were never going to happen but never once thought it would be because he wasnt alive! |

I had heard that he had gone to the hospital but had not heard that he died. Also, I just read that Farrah Fawcett passed away. Sad news day:( |

Celebrities die in 3's. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson.
I think we still need another "official" source on the MJ. CNN still reports he was rushed to the hospital with cardiac arrest and nothing more.
Can we add this one to the Blog of Unnecessary Quotes:
Singer Michael Jackson 'dies' |

It's official. He's dead. Or at least they had it confirmed by a "family friend". So maybe not so much.
They finally have someone confirming it. Now the LA Times, CNN, MSNBC, CNN are reporting it.
MTV Have stopped their programming to show all Michael Jackson videos.
CNN
All of these sites just want to be the first. They should really confirm these reports before report on it |

I don't think any of us can say we're actually surprised. He's looked like Death sucking on Life Savers for years now, so frail.
The interesting thing will be to know exactly what in the world was wrong with him. Disease, drugs, complications for surgeries or what?? |

I've been listening to "I Want You Back" repeatedly the last few days... one of my favorites. My Dad was telling me about how when the Jackson 5 came out when he was little how it was a big deal. Man.
Apparently he was training and he was under a lot of stress with his financial problems... people have gone into cardiac arrest under much less. |

Our posts got swapped Meridith.
Jeff Goldblum died today too. Apparently he fell while shooting a movie.
EDIT: I can't believe it. It's terrible. Really sad. He had his weird side, he had his controversial side but i love all his old music from the 70s. Can't believe it. Really sad day. |

EDIT: Ha! That's the first time that has happened to one of my posts. Okay well yeah, I wrote this:
