It's been 6 months. Is it time for another boardie exchange? What could we exchange? I've been trying to think of something simple and inexpensive, but haven't come up with anything yet. |

I was thinking the same thing, me wee turtle. Meant to start a thread several times, but never remembered when I was at a computer.
Good job
I will try to think of something, but generally I am up for any exchange.
It could be some broad category like..."something homemade" which could be anything. Something crafty, a photo, baking, mixed cd (yes, I know that one has been done, but many people werent in it/there is lot of music out there), a drawing, etc. |

How about a mini-flag? Like the kind in souvenir shops or they hand out at parades? That way if we have more exchanges, we can kinda collect them? |

well I like something country-centric, there is no personalization or suprise in a flag. You get matched with me, you imediatetly know you are getting a cdn flag. And while that is delightful, there is no fun in waiting for your package to arrive to see what you got. |

I'm going to say that I'll take part now, for the simple fact that every time one of these is arranged I forget to sign up lol. The home made thing sounds good, although I feel sorry for whoever gets paired up with me, because it will inevitably be something made out of pipe cleaners due to my appauling lack of talent in the craft department ;-P |

I'm up for another exchange. The homemade thing sounds like a good plan in theory but whomever got paired with me would think they were being punished since I am not good at making anything besides baked goods. And since I can't really ship those overseas I shudder to think what horror I would be sending. It would be so bad. |

But perhaps the horribleness of our homemade items would be part of the fun! It would be a great laugh. |

totally! "Look at this horrible piece of painted string with glitter that Anne sent me! I love it" *throws it in the garbage* :)
But I trust that everyone would be able to make something. Homemade can also be computer made if that is more your speed. Like I said, the cd, or...photoshop something funny.
Write a funny poem or song, make a video. The possibilities are endless |

You crafty people have no idea the amount of stress, tears, and anguish the phrase "oh just make something it's easy!" inspires.
I could write something but that seems a rather boring thing to get in the mail. I mean I could just email that as an attachment. |

Have Catherine make some big giant bows, and make a video of you singing some boob related song. Problem solved. |

I'm all for another exchange! It's been a while since the last one! However, I'm not so sure about this homemade thing.
a. not everyone is crafty
b. since not everyone is crafty, someone is bound to end up with a shitty gift, lol
c. I highly doubt any boys will want to participate
My vote is we exchange candy! It's cheap. If you guys wanna go with homemade stuff, I guess I'll just sit out and let you have your fun. :O) |
