At the Newbury acoustic set in Boston, my wife asked Fran to play "The Cage" (her favorite song) at that night's show.
He said "maybe". It didn't get played, but when we saw the setlist after the show, "The Cage" was supposed to be an encore song. That was just as special for her, knowing that he remembered her request. Except for the knuckleheads, it was a great night.
