I throw the old eye on it now and again...

I thought the Hatton situation was interesting, first of all Floyd Maywether(?) starts shouting his mouth of about how "Hatton was nothing till I started working with him", wtf??? then the press conference where Hatton was giving it the usual.. I'm gonna crush him, etc, etc, When it came to Pacquiao (?) He said that all he wanted to do was box and he obviously wanted to win but it was more important both fighters put up a good show. I thought he was a welcome change to the usual outside the ring shenanigans and he obviously let his boxing do the talking!!

Yes i thought the way Pacquiao conducted himself throughout was good for the sport.

As for Hatton on Saturday. He seemed to be unaware that the opposition would be using 2 hands , rather than just the one he kept watching out for.

I don't really have a problem with Hatton, it's really more Mayweather, he's a complete and utter arsehead.

I really think the promoters and trainers have a lot to answer for, Promoters obviously set up easy bouts for their man. Then eventually they have to come up against someone who they are totally outclassed by, like Hatton v Pacquiao. It's the same over here Bernard Dunne is suppossedly Thee best fighter of his time, he fought no-one or also-rans until he came up against Kiko Martinez who basically knocked him out in the first round. His recent fight against Ricardo Cordoba was a brilliant fight and he looked dead on his feet before pulling a knockout punch from nowhere to end the fight in the 11th round.
