So, the venue wouldn't let me bring in my SLR because it's a "pro" camera, so I had a little point and shoot. I noticed when I tried to take some pictures that I was taking video so here are some clips from the DC show. I hope the band will return soon!

I introduced my coworkers to Travis and brought one of the new converts to the concert and they're fully hooked now, they've hit up iTunes for tracks and they're singing Travis songs at work. Yay! |

Really enjoyed Something Anything and Love will come through :) Thanks!
(Now, I'm realising that when the moment comes for me to see them live I'll have to strategically choose my place in front of the stage; considering that I need to have Andy rocking near me but I don't want to miss out on Dougie's moves...it's going to be a tough choice...) |

The first time I saw Travis they were the supporting band for Oasis and we had HORRIBLE seats. Every show since then we get there early and stake a claim. We were second row here, would have been first but I was hamstringed by venue staff for a few minutes.
Have you seen this video from Nigel Godrich from 7/2007 at the 9:30 Club? I'm in pretty much the same spot as I was for this show and I can see myself a couple times. Fran mentioned this video at this past concert. It's a fun mix of clips from the show.

Yeah, that's a great video. We were on the balcony that time as well, but the opposite side near to Andy. Did you notice that they kept the amps away from the balcony this time? To discourage him from climbing up again maybe? : ) |

I did notice that. However, despite that once he was up on his own it looked as if he wanted to jump to the balcony. There was no way he'd make it though, so I'm happy he didn't try. How 'bout Fran standing on Neil's kit and jumping off? |

I know how you feel, although Dougie's moves makes it an easier choice for me:P |
