Myself and Dee were sitting in the Porterhouse this evening having a lovely meal and a few drinks. When in walk three "rugby" type people 2 guys 1 girl, all carrying a little extra around the midrift, they then proceed to take the table right next to us even though the place is fucking empty, They then proceed to talk at the top of their voices, the girl making a phone call that the whole pub can hear, After sitting with their drinks 1 they bought (and 2 they brought in with them.) for about half an hour they decide they want food, 1 pizza between 3 !!! So they then proceed to rudely attract the waitress's attention everything short of snapping his fingers. The young girl waitress who is obviously under a bit of pressure then proceeds to take their order, while the bitch with the phone tries to explain she wants a half and half pizza different toppings on either side, of course that's how I would have said it but the bitch makes it pretty complicated to the young waitress who politely repeats the order, to make sure she has it right, only to be asked "Should I draw you a picture" the bitch while saying this also picks up a notepad and pen to emphasize her point.
Seriously where the fuck do some people get their fucking lack of bastarding manners, The waitress we had was a little "dippy" (forgot the drink order, it happens) but extremely polite and very helpful. I would have loved to have been the waiter for these 3 fucks, when asked if I needed a picture I would have replied "Yes, can you draw me a door?","Glad you know what it looks like. Now fucking use it!!" However they would not have behaved like that with me or anyone else who very obviously wouldn't take their shite attitude, They were bullies pure and fucking simple.
I'm guessing our food probably tasted a lot better with out the spit, cause that is sure as fuck what I would have done with theirs after behaviour like that.
Trinity Graduate, D4, Rugger Bugger, Fucks I really really hope you end up cleaning the fucking toilets of needles in some fucked up junkie drop in centre See how you fucking like it.
Yeah, I don't know where people get off treating others like that. I mean really, was that all necessary? I'm guessing no. Unfortunately there are a lot of people out there like that who like to treat others like that just to make them feel better about themselves in some freaky way. I see it all the time. Just recently I was in the post office waiting in line to use the automated postal service kiosk. There were two other ladies in front of me. The first lady was trying to figure out how to use the machine. The second lady (who was directly in front of me) was clearly irritated that the first lady was taking too long and let that fact be known by her huffing, stomping her feet, and saying quite loudly that she should've just waited in the regular line. She was just rude. I felt bad for the other lady in front of her who was desperately to figure out what she was doing, and no doubt feeling a little flustered. She finally figured it all out, but who knows what kind of effect the rude lady had on her for the rest of her day. I just wish some people would realize what a little bit of courtesy and patience can do. Even a simple smile can work wonders. It's too bad people like to treat other's horribly just so they can feel that itty bit of pseudo power.
I think I have pretty good manners but I also think the fact that I worked at a restaurant helped make me a much more reasonable customer. I feel like everyone should work as a waiter and cashier. I think people would be much nicer to them once you do it and see how much crap you have to tolerate.
Yesterday when we landed in Austin I got to exit and there was this older woman in front of me. She took about 500 hours to get her bag, fiddle with it, etc. Inside I was definitely feeling irritated but I took a deep breath and reminded myself that I was in no rush and someday that will be my mother (and eventually me) that is moving a bit slower. When she was done she turned around and said, "thank you for your patience."
That made me feel bad that I even thought bad things because clearly she has been fussed at before.

I was in a similar situation recently, I also felt a little shitty when the old woman apologized to the rest of us for holding us up, However my story also illustrates the "flip" side of the original post as the old lady was struggling the two guys behind the counter (foreign) decided to converse in their own language and smirk. Luckily the old woman never saw this. Then once she left they blatantly had a good old snigger with each other again in their own language, I was furious that they had the nerve to laugh at someone else's misfortune, for all we know she could have had a medical condition, a problem with nerves or perhaps she was just a lonely old woman and this was the only company she got. Either way I felt shitty at myself for getting annoyed and annoyed at the two fuckwits behind the counter for not giving her two minutes from their obviously hectic lifestyle of working in a Fucking mini mart, pair of pricks!
