@slyke25 Thanks so much for posting the pics and vids. I missed out on a wristband, and ended up listening to the whole performance from the next room, from behind a black curtain! Thankfully, I got a nice pic with Fran before he left. |

By the way, did anyone record -- or does anyone remember -- what Fran said in the introduction to "Driftwood?" Something like "this is the best thing I've ever written?" |

Driftwood is the only song (don't quote me on this by the way :P) where the melody and lyrics popped into Fran's head at the same time. Not sure whether this makes it the most natural thing he's ever written (over something like that) or that might be a completely irrelevant fact :) |

It is a song that came to him very quickly apparently yes. :) A song he wrote because the record company thought The Man Who was appearing to be depressing. It was nearly forgotten due to a mix up with a new recorder he'd bought. :) He has mentioned it's the most fun to play live I think. :) |
