Does anyone use mobile broadband on their laptop (uk) if so who do you use?

I highly recommend you not to get mobile broadband. It's slow as hell over here, but maybe the conditions are better in the UK!

Dee uses O2(soon to become Telefonica, I believe) on her laptop, speeds are not great but they are not bad either, about half the speed of my NTL/Chorus (you can stream youtube clips no problem). I think it's about €20 per month unlimited(I think) and the coverage in Dublin at least is very good.

Don't know if that's any help to you...

Yeah iam thinking about moving to o2 for all my broadband because it allows me a static ip, unlike virgin at the moment.

Broadband & Mobile Broadband works out about the same price for me as I'm sharing a flat with two others, however if I have to move again I would consider just getting the mobile option it really is well more... mobile

Where's Esteban when you need him !! He's probably the est person to ask about this.

bastards cut me off without notice because they fucked up my direct debit.....AND on my mobile i couldn't receive or make calls while in the UK which i could do before less than a year ago.

i discovered they'd cut off my internet just as i tried to log on to send them a complaint email about my phone!
