Well here's the song I told you about...

Mexico

Still the memories
Haunt me like a melody
And in my heart there's a symphony
When all have been said and done
Between your heart and mine
And your words are ringing in my ears

And I've said goodbye
To save another cry
Cause my heart is longing out
And no more why's
No sweet little lies
Cause my heart is going south
To Mexico

Still our destiny
Haunt me like a parody
And in my heart there's entropy
When we've walked this road
That leads to hatred
Now even your name brings me to tears

And I've said goodbye
To save another cry
Cause my heart is longing out
And no more cries
No sweet little lies
Cause my heart is going south
To Mexico

And now that you're gone
I know I must be strong
Now that you're gone
I still sing this song..

Maybe the most depressing song I've ever written :P

And a little bonus:

Sue & Sam

I know a guy, his name is Sam
And he's not much of a man
He lives in his own made up land
Cause he has no big master plan

So he pours himself a glass of wine
And pretend that all is fine
But he falls to the ground
And that's when it all breaks down

I know a girl, her name is Sue
And there's not much she can't do
She works all night and day
To pay the bills she has to pay
But in the night she cries her blues away

So she pours herself some gin
So she can bear with the pain within
But she falls to the ground
And that's when it all breaks down

So one day Sue meets Sam
And all of a sudden he ask for her hand
But Sue is so shy and she barely know his name
What can he do to make her understand?

So he pours her a drink
Whispers in her ear: "it's not the way you think"
Sue I know that you've been hurt
But hey Sue I've been hurt too
Hey Sue I've been there too...

Thanks a lot Sue, your name is a really good rhyme you know ;) I'm really glad you enjoy reading my lyrics, but I don't think they're THAT good, I just write on a daily basis because it's something I need to do!

So is Bogus lurking around?

Here I am! Thanks por posting, Alex! :oD

First, I agree with Sue you should really pursue writing lyrics professionally :o). And if you write just because you need to I think you would have a great time pursuing that career ;o). Secondly, yeah it's a bit depressing but I LOVE them, and I would love to hear the lyrics with music. The Sue & Sam song is very good too, I really like it!

Don't worry, Alex, I know what you mean about the VERY special person. We all are special, but some are VERY special to us ;o).

Thanks for the kind words, I'm blown away by you guys! You're all so very sweet, really!

But how do you become a proffessional writer? I have no idea at all, should I just send my lyrics to different artists and record companies, or what do I do?

Ps. I think I'll record Sam & Sue someday, very soon!

Hugs and goodnighty!

And yes, you should definitely record Sam & Sue!! Give us heads up when you do it ;o).
