I came home the other day and the tulips my dad brought home had started to bloom:

Roots! No dirt!

My Kalanchoes are also blooming, but they're supposed to bloom in the winter. :D |

Very interesting!
I drove by the cactus house I was telling you about the other day. The cacti are still there, covered in snow. I should have taken a picture, I guess, but I didn't want to get caught taking a picture of someone else's house. They appear to be alive, as best as I can tell. They're a big tangly, spiky, poky mess. |

Weird! I had to look it up and apparently there are winter hardy cacti. I didn't know!
I found out what that weird succenlent which grows buds on its leaves that then fall off and make new plants all over the place (I thought it was a type of Aloe):

(This one isn't mine but this is what it looks like) It's another variety of Kalanchoe! Nicknamed "Mother of Thousands" and it's true, I must have like, fifty little babies growing now. I think they must be my favorite type of succulent because I have four different kinds.

This is what my other ones look like...just an example, I took pictures of mine this afternoon that I can post later. I have them in pink, orange and a sort of pastel pink/yellow colour. I love them! |
