I'm gonna get trollied outta my face and hopefully pass out somewhere in North London. I don't plan on remembering a single thing from that night, New Years is always a bit embarrassing and awful. |

My husband is getting his wisdom teeth out this coming Monday so since we don't know how he'll recover we're just planning on laying low. |

wow, that's late in life.
Not that Brian is old or anything, but most people have them out in their teens or early 20s.
I hope his goes better than mine did! And that they give him stronger meds. |

I think they came in decently so the dentist never pushed it. But two of them have cavities so now they are saying do it.
He got some champagne "for New Years" and I just laughed at him. I said thanks for getting me a bottle. Can't see him wanting bubbly so soon after. |

Mr. Turtleneck had his out when he was about 35. It was painful, but his cheeks didn't swell up like he was warned. The pain meds made him sick. As soon as he stopped taking them, he felt much better.
As for my New Year's Eve, I plan on going to bed at 12:02 AM. New Year's Day I will watch the Twilight Zone marathon and shred 2008 documents. That's what I do every New Year's Day. Am I the most boring person on the planet? |

I was fine for the first 2 days and then it was the worst pain i have ever felt in my life. That went on for over a week. And then I couldnt open my mouth further than an inch for 2 weeks. Then my face randomly swelled up (it didnt swell or bruise really at all right after) and once that went down, I was back to normal. It was very weird.
I think it was because it wasnt urgent and the teeth werent even through my gums so they had to dig down really far.
And everyone i know got Tylonol 3s. I got 2s.
I ate a lot of ice cream, mashed potatoes and mushroom soup. |

I've only got one wisdom tooth so far, and the dentist told me I should get it out, just in case it gets infected. But after my experience yesterday and your story, I don't think I'm going back to the dentist any time soon. |

oh dont base it on my story. Everyone else i know was fine after a couple days.
My oddness just extends to dental surgery.
I think I just should have waited a while until they were grown in further, but I wanted to do it while I was still under my parents medical benefits because I was a student at the time. |

I'll be at home, with my mom, my 2 sisters, my brother and my brother-in-law. I'm sure I'll have a good time as I usually do with my family :o).
About the wisdom tooth, I have already gotten the four out. Three of them were ok, even by the next day I was absolutely fine. But one of them (the second I got) was really painful, mainly I think because it was a dental surgery. The pain lasted more than a week, and it was very uncomfortable to feel like a little hole in my mouth - just remembering the sensation of that gives me the chills xD.
Anyways, Juli, like Kristy said, every people's experience is different, and if you need to take it out the faster the better :oP. |
