Interesting- i was demonstrating how such a bad song could be re-interpreted as Philosophy for Dummies. They didn't get it.
Anyway, my worst Travis track is... Mother.
Awful! |

Rock 'n Salad Roll... if I absolutely had to pick at the moment. But it could change tomorrow. I don't even hate that one particularly, I wouldn't skip it if it came on let's put it that way. I would much rather listen to Travis' 'less good' b-sides than practicly all of the music charts. |

Aww no Mother is a lovely song I think.
The Travis song I don't particularly like...um...probably Afterglow. Or Dear Diary.
I don't really hate any though. S'true. |

my vote is for " peace the fuck out".
I disagreee with fuck being used in such a phrase. It just seems out of place... |

Urge For Going, it's just so long and monotonous. But it's a cover. I'm not sure what my least favorite original song by Travis would be... |

urge for going is absouetly beautiful, theres so few artists who have actualy covered joni mitchell as well as this. the production captures a lovely mood. love everything about that cover.
we are monkeys is a cute take of obladeoblada. i imagine you would either think its fun or yehh annoying.
my least 2 favourites are the day to day and the great unknown. alrite songs but they just lack something that makes it a great travis song. |

I think that if there isn't one song on the album I don't like, then it's not a Travis album ;)
on Good Feeling, I really don't like The Line is Fine.
On The Man Who, I skip Luv
on The Invisible Band I can't say I like Safe
on 12 Memories I skip Midlife Krysis
and on the Boy With No Name, it's New Amsterdam I won't listen to.
I don't think any of the above songs are 'bad' per se, I just find myself unmoved and I tend to just not enjoy them.

Flowers in the window? No way, amazing song, just listen to the bass line, beautiful...I'd have to say the weakest link for me is paperclips...It just does not get started really.. |

Peace The Fuck Out
Horrible, horrible, horrible and I simply can't listen to the crowd bit at the end, always skip it. Hell most of the time I skip it long before the first chorus (chorus? what chorus?) never mind the outro.
"You have a voice - don't lose it
You have a choice - so choose it
You have a brain - so use it
The time has come to
PEACE THE FUCK OUT "
*shudders* |
