Haha I thought of you today Hippster! There's a Swedish comercial with a hippo in it.

Translated:
Did you know that there's a very, very small... hippo living in almost every house? Yeah it's true! Look there's one! At night, when everybody's sleeping, it crawls out and that's why so few have actually seen one. The hippos come out to take a bath and of course eat some crumbs, they really love crumbs! They often build their homes inside the wall and at day they just lie there and get cozy...

To be able to interpret what's true and what's false isn't always as easy as it seems, that's why we have made this site to teach compulsory school pupils how to critically review information...

Oh, I didn't know hippo is flodhäst in Swedish! It's actually the same in Finnish, virtahepo, "river horse"

It's terrible that a young lady is now daily referred to as Hippo rather than her name and EVERYONE knows who it is.

Hepo is sort of poetic name for a horse, in everyday language it's "hevonen".

My guess is that the Canadians did it first and it was then Swedenized ;^)

Kristy is short enough, thank you. Some other areas could shrink though and i would be just fine with that.
