Hi,
I just want to thank you guys for having done 'Pipes Of Peace' in an acoustic BBC session. I've discovered the mp3 thanks to James' calendar and it was such a great surprise... one of my favourite Macca song indeed!
And this is so brilliant that I just wanted to make a thread about it! :-)
PS : A live version in Brussels will be needed!!! :) |

Yeah it was a cool cover. Its one of those songs that I've always known and liked, but the cover kinda reawakened me to it and realise its awesomeness. :D |

and I've just realised that it was my 300th post too... awesome ;)
and you're right, this song is fantastic and this version gave me chills. :)
Fran's voice is perfect for it, and the backvocals are nicely made. |

Thanks Elodie! That's really nice of you. What other artist would do a cover of Pipes of Peace, let alone an accoustic version. Superb.
