On Tuesday, I watched a travel show on PBS about Scotland. It showed a map of all the places the travel lady was going to go and Aberdeen was on the map. All she said was, "I got on a plane in Aberdeen and flew to the islands." They didn't show any of Aberdeen at all. She must have hated Aberdeen, too. |

I can think of worse towns/cities in Scotland to live... haha. Do they not stick those huge booxes of grit out on the road for people to use? I think they did that in Oban. |

yeah they do that. Except now they come with a warning label on them with a picture of a needle, as junkies were disposing of needles in the grit. Not cool. |

Fife is a fucking kip of a place, mind you I'm from Paisley so I can't say to much... but I fucking hate Fife it's a dirty, manky, drab place.

my friend Andy's stand up routine included a then, excellent topical joke.
"So, news this week eh. Bird flu has hit the shores of the uk, in Scotland on a coastal town near St Andrews. Terrible news I'm sure you'll all agree. But on the upshot, some fifers might die." |
