Only four remain. The weak have been filtered - only the mightiest of Travis songs now stand. The master Ode Eye has been watching the events unfold (think Sauron's Eye, but with less fire), and it is impatient to see a Showdown victor emerge - a song that may take upon its role as the Ode Eye's most powerful and loyal servant. But here and now, bronze shines bright in the mighty Ode Eye's......eye. Yes, the two songs that shall lose their lives this day will still retain some honor, as they are to be pickled in shiny bronze pickle jars hand-picked (well, eye picked) by the eye in the sky himself! (bronze pickle jars available at all good home-goods stores, estimated retail price: £24.99). Hurrah for the Ode Eye's generosity! Long live the Ode Eye!

Now is the point when it would get exciting if we didn't already know which song will win :) I suppose it's not over until the fat lady... well, whoever sings at the end of a Song Showdown.
