since I spent some hours of my employer's time writing it and it was on the old board for say 1 hour, you're getting it again :-P

Wake up to the sound of clattering bins in the backcourt and so I know I’m in Glasgow. Need to wake up a bit more to realise it’s day 0 !!, the day of the gig ! and a bit more waking up to realise that I’ve arranged to meet Hanne and Luis at Kelvingrove Art Galleries. I think she needs my support in case Luis turns out to be the axe murderer. Well he isn’t :D
Anyways we have a interesting but short look around the Galleries and then head into town to Borders where Luis buys The Boy. Now it‘s time for some lunch and after meeting up with Stana (aka Siska) we head for the pub.
By now we can sense that Luis is getting anxious to join the queue at the Barrowland so Hanne and Stana take him there and hand him over into the TLC of the boardies already queueing. I head home for a cuppa and a choco turtle or two (thanks Edel :D )
6pm; it’s time to get the gig gear on which is an ancient old felted jacket that has been to every Travis gig I’ve been to and needless to say it is a bit tatty but hey, this jacket just belongs to a Travis gig as do the Travis badges stuck to it.
A smile creeps onto my face as I saunter along to the Underground and it stays there all night. Coming round the corner at the Barrows I bump into squinty Gladly and have a wee chat with him before meeting up with Hanne and Stana. Into the venue we spot that they have the new T shirts ! Get myself a Selfish Jean T and of course it has to be worn straight away !
Into the medley and we spot Luis right at the front – he’s made it ! :D Get a txt from Elaine and head off to the bar downstairs where I walk right past her……och well it’s 3 years since I last saw her and was never good keeping faces in my head, just as well Elaine does ! So good to see her ! :)
Back up into the crowd and Brinkman are starting their set. Erm well they’re ok but somehow I’m not impressed. Their songs seem to start off quite well but they should not attempt tempo changes … you need to be good at this and they are not.
Travis ! Here they are ! what an entrance !:D well from there on I don’t know what happens. It seems that I enter into another world, a world of singing and dancing, jumping and clapping - this is not a concert, this is one great party, a songfest of great magnitude and I’m lost in it and it feels soo great.
All too soon it comes to an end but not before they play Happy ! well this is almost too much - I’m done, hoarse and soaking and HAPPY !
Slowly making our way outside, recognising a few boardies even though they’re not sure about me (not what you’d expected eh ? :D ) Hanging around for a while not sure if I want to stay on and wait for the lads, in the end I do even tough it gets colder and colder but imagine they’d come out just after I’ve left? No way! so we wait and out they come. So great to meet up again! Have a wee chat, get the Boy sleeve signed and some pictures taken (thank you Helen :)).
Finally I get home to bed and fall asleep with a smile still on my face.....
