As promised, here it is. Alfie's Guide to Sweden, as writen by my friend for my birthday.
The first picture relates to the fact that Alfie is pretty small for a hockey player. So it is a running joke that he does whatever he can to look big: wearing a giant jersey, only standing beside short people, etc (my friends are just as nuts as I am)
And this is because Jason Spezza is known manwhore
Okay, and snuff snuff snuff. 2 years ago, at the Sens Skills Competition, there is a clip of his son sitting on his lap on the bench. And he points to the ice and says "Papa...snuff." or something like that, and we have NO idea what he is saying, so snuff became a random funny word. Is there a word in Swedish that sounds like snuff??

Aaaaw "FAO Swede Boy", I love that :)
Very funny collage/story about Alfie and Sweden! Really loved the "I'm here for some Swedish massage. Did I say massage? I meant meatballs"-part!
Is it the same friend who were your travel friend when you visited Sweden?
This thing really convinced me that you have a special place in your heart for Sweden and Swedes, lovely!
Hmmm "snuff", sounds funny, but I have no idea what he could have said.. |

Glad you found it funny. No, she wasnt in Sweden with me. A friend from Ottawa who loves Alfie as much as I do.
Aww, dont be mean to the Sedin twins! They are awesome and funny.
See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6tBr6PMkBY
And they are probably sad today Darran, since your Flames beat them last night.
oh, and Alfie shaved his head because he is going bald. He used to have crazy Krusty the Clown hair. |

Hey Kristy do you know if Alfie is a snuffer?
Snuff = Snus in Swedish, pronounced a bit similar. |

So last night in the chat Swede Boy told me he likes the Wings! Another fan...check! :P
I'm with Dannar on this one. Those Sedin Twins creep me out. :/
The hottest Swedes of all time: Lidstrom & Zetterberg:
Oh, hockey...how I love you so.

Well, actually the hottest Swede is Freddie Ljungberg, but he isnt a hockey player.
How can the Sedin twins creep anyone out? They are precious. And i stalked them good!
I literally couldnt form sentences. I was with a friend (actually the one who wrote the above story) killing time between classes in downtown Ottawa and they walked by on the other side of the street and i went: "Swedish! Hockey players! Twins!" I know their names! But could I think of them in my panicked stalking state? no!
So, i went running after them to the mall. And then tried to form sentences when they asked how to get to the nearest movie theatre. And then found half of the Canucks team was at the mall. ahhhhh. |

Oh sorry dear, think it's a swedish invention ;)
It's tobaco in BAGS(or not in bags) that you put under your lip:
You guys are crazy, Lidström hot?
And hey Nikki, practically speaking, you forced me into saying I'm a Red wings fan, you arse ;) |
