When you become massively famous can I tell people I know you? lol ;)
I was wondering, where does your band name come from? |

The Name Eskimos Fall is quite literal, on the day my band we're choosing a name!
It Snowed Crazy Hard last year!
I saw this wee kid out in an Inuit coat walking around all cute so innocent
and suddenly he fella on the Ice. You could see it was his first experience in his short we life of this magical thing called Snow. So I took off to band practice and as we were talking i remembered the Kid Falling and i just came out with it!
As Simple and Literal as that!
I tend to tell people for fun its something more important, like it relates to global warming and how because of the melting of the polar caps the amount of Inuits around the world are declining!
Alot of people say you know the name Eskimo is degrading to the Inuit people, and my response to that is we're the Eskimos They're the Inuit's!
Hope that clears it up

Pete!!! Can you sleep at night at the moment? You must be so excited of this success! And... ahem... I'm a little bit proud to know you, such a great musician!!! And, as Bryn wrote: May I say I know Pete from Eskimos Fall when you are famous, too??? *gg* The new "Falling" is great!!! The chorus enhances the song, and your voice gets better and better!!!
Here's a little "gift" for you - you remember??

I love those words!! And I feel constrained to act! As soon as possible, I TRY to start more rivers!!!
Thanks for the story about your band name! Very funny!
Bye! |

That is a cute story! Although maybe not for the little guy... his first experience of the volatility of beauty... *sigh* Guess it has to happen sometime. ;) (There's another "deeper" meaning for you if you ever tire of the global warming one. lol)
Cool picture, silvella! :) |

the boy with a cryptic name Posted Wed 10 Dec, 2008 9:54 AM |
I meant to find this thread to say that I listened to some of your songs and I really like them. I was expecting some pretty balladeering but you can rock too :D Especially like Stand Tall (I think it was called that). With a lot more promotion you guys could be going somewhere. |
