I'm now working for a jeweller/watchmaker and my job implies all customer relationship management related issues, for instance advising customers about a creation they wish to purchase...etc...

The job is alright i suppose except when :

- the customer explains he wants a diamond ring for his wife's birthday and we spend 15 minutes discussing the type of ring he wishes to purchase, the cost of the creation...and once the whole thing seems to be finalised he asks : "Will I be able to see you in the boutique ? You've got such a lovely voice that i'd be delighted to meet you...".

- someone rings to ask what time it is to check if his watch battery's funtionning well.

- some guy's check the availability of a ring and specifies he wants 2 of them.
(one for the wifey and the other one for the mistress).

But look at how many rings you're selling. You'll probably get a promotion.
