The other night , maestro Dave Hunter started work on his next silkscreen to be printed at the FIREHOUSE KUSTOM ROCKART , Hanger 18 in West Side Oakland . It's for the upcoming Decemberist gig at the Warfield and part of the Firehouse-Goldenvoice series . A few picks from along the journey , todays pics are part one , more to follow .

one more color to go , there are several colors underneath that to make a much richer color , The Italians invented that a few hundred years ago . Because it was printed on top of a heavy metalic ink there are little nooks and cranies but the black floats on top of that . Really pops when you use chromadepth 3 D glasses . Even on line .
Dave cleaning up after yellow . It's a dirty job . On the wall behind him are mock ups from his previous poster
