Isn't it time to release Travis' new single, don't you think?
They only released two singles in 6th album!
I want next one!
So, if it comes out,
Which song do you want as a next single?
In my opinion, Chinese Blues or Before You Were Young.
Chinese blues has some sort of energy...
And in Before You Were Young, Fran's voice sounds wonderful, and drum & gong sounds make me thrill. |

As a single, Quite Free has more possibilities than Last Words I guess..though.

I really love Before You Were Young and on the other hand Quite Free could be a radio friendly single. |

Chinese Blues is amazing. But considering that Travis didn't release it as the FIRST single, it may not be a single after Song to self. :)

I don't see the point in releasing a single not in today's saturated shite music industry. Travis could release the best song ever written and it wouldn't be given airplay :-(
But if the radio was like it was back in the day my vote would be for 'Quite Free' or 'Long Way Down' |

What radio and tv companies want is money. Since Travis in now in their own label, its obvious that they could not get much airplay financially. :-(

Song To Self is the next single which Fran has already confirmed. Fran has said there is no point in more than 2 singles. I said then and i'll say again, i think they'll go back on that plan and release a 3rd. My choice:
Last Words or
Quite Free. :)
BUT if they do as much promotion for it as they did Something Anything, they shouldn't bother releasing a single at all. |
