| I'm from Sweden so sometimes there are some words missing in my english dictionary. The first time I listened to Long Way Down I kept hearing Fran singing "I watch Smeagol passing all this people" and thought it sounded quite funny. I understood that I must have misheard the lyrics so I listened again and then I thought the lyrics could be "I watch this eagle swopping past the people", but it didn't sound right so I did some research on the internet and now I know the right lyrics and the meaning of both seagull and steeple ;) |

well, i always had trouble understanding coldplay's "clocks" properly. the words are "... shoot an apple off my head" - and for years i understood "... shouldn't i pull off my head?" lol |

Lol! Smeagol xD.
In the song "Loser" by Beck, he says "soy un perdedor, I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me". And I thought it said "so, open the door, I'm a loser baby..."
And it's very stupid, because my native tounge is Spanish and I didn't understand he was singing in Spanish xD. |
