So with news of Tennant leaving (how gutting is that? I completely blame Russell, who still hasn't explained why he chose to leave in the first place) well Moffatt will do a brilliant job tho. . . Anyway, which episode did you like from this season with Catherine Tate? |

I loved the first episode (how cute were the Adipose??) and the episode called Midnight (the one with the bus trip thingy)
Can't believe Mr. Tennant is leaving :-( |

They were the cuttest creatures ever :oD
Catherine Tate was quite annoying in the Christmas special but she was surprisingly good in season 4!
I can't choose a favourite episode... I didn't really like the second episode in Pompeii and the ones with the Sontarans though. |

I liked the final episode, when she was doctor donna, and had that awesome scene when her and the doctor realised what had happened. Classic. |

Personally I hope they drop it again,
Badly Acted, Shit "ham" Dialogue, Terrible Special Effects, Unbelievable Storylines..... Yeah quality television. RIGHT!!

What? I...how...huh? Russell T Davies is leaving?! How did I not know this?? Darn, I am so behind, and the only episode that I've seen with Catherine Tate in it is the Christmas Special of season 3! Darn Irish tv not showing it! :(
Dubz, are you serious about the whole "unbelievable storylines" thing? Cos, um, it is sci-fi. You're not really meant to believe it. |

All great Sci fi has what is known as the "suspension of disbelief", that to me means that it has to be believable (i.e. this could happen) and not so far out there that there is no chance of it ever happening. for example the Star Wars films all begin with "In a galaxy far far away", ie this is not our world but a totally different possibly parrallel or something universe, where as Doctor who is set in present day UK and is totally and utterly unbelievable.
Sci-fi does not need to contain spaceships and other galaxies but rather a story where Science and Fiction are distorted, 12 Monkeys for example to me is Sci Fi I believe all sci-fi should leave you thinking what if?? and not What the Fuck!!
