I heard a rumour on Saturday that Jimmy Calderwood could part company with the Dons.

Is there any truth to this and would it be a good or a bad thing ??

Around about the last scotland game i was told he had 3 games.
Thats all i know.
A good or a bad thing ? dunno really not a fan of him to be honest. Iam of the opinion he is lucky rather than good.
I also dont understand where the media get this idea he is attack minded. I find him very negative at times. The other problem i have with the whole scenario is that i have no idea who i would like to replace him.
As the saying goes "Better the devil you know than the devil you dont" .

He's given the club the best period of stability that I can remember in recent years. i wouldn't get rid of him.

I appreciate Aberdeen would be looking to push on another level and regularly be in the European slot, however lets not forget the Ebbe Sbovdahl and Seve years of turmoil and relegation fights.

I'd hold on to him for a few new seasons until it was identified an actual manager who you wanted to bring in and take the club forward. Not sack him then wonder who to get.
