I don't know if this is allowed here but I did an acoustic of 'Sarah' as it's one of my favourite Travis songs. If you wanna hear it then you can vist my Myspace page here:

If I've done anything wrong then please remove the post. I always love to hear covers of lesser known songs:) |

Thanks alot everyone:) It's a bit faster than the Travis version, but it's one of my favourite songs. It deserves much more exposure than what it's got. |

this was amazing... I really like your voice. How did you record it? |

It was actually really simple and I record all my songs the same. I have a little dictaphone and simply plug it in the back of the computer (in the mic socket) and then record it into Cool Edit. I then add some echo, bass and generally just make it sound a lot fuller. In the case of 'Sarah' and songs were you can hear my voice double trackeed, I simply rerecorded over it singing along.
Easy really:) |

That's a brilliant cover! I agree with you that it deserves a lot more exposure; it's a lovely song. And yes it does have a sort of Bealtes-ish vibe. Really good job :) |

I love this song!!
Yes I was gonna say the same thing - definitely very 'Beatles'. Would slot into the early/mid 60's nicely. |

Loved this cover of one of my most favourite songs.
Me and the wife were listening to your version, when we both said at the same time that it sounded like the Beatles, then we narrowed it down to your voice sounding like Paul McCartney's.
Anybody agree ?? |
