hi la femme - i just read about the children't crusade the other day - appauling affair - christianity still has so much to answer for, or they can just bite the bullet and say "OK the popes of old and new are easily corruptible and are not acting because god spoke to them" |

You should check the crusades through arab eyes by amin maalouf. He is writing whole story from arab chronicles. Great source! |

what I learnt about the crusades is that behind the aim of making free the holy places in jerusalem, there were a lot of sons of noblemen that wanted to conquer a land, since in their coutries they had not due to the feudal law
