Had an interview with a regional radio station today, S P I N southwest (sorry have to space cause of employers searching) and it went really well and they offered me a trial on air just to get used to the desk and then i'll have my own show if all goes well *crosses fingers*
So woohoo. My foot is in the door! This is all ive been looking for to kick start my dj career YAY!
Oh and in my local SuperValu shop Something Anything was playing on the speakers so i had to ask the cashier who chose the music and she said the headquarters in dublin.
AND thats not all, I was in a pub in Navan, Co. Meath and Selfish Jean came on. I nearly died!
My friends don't understand me, i was so excited cause I never hear Travis on radios or in public places anymore. I wanted to log on here immediately and tell ye.. its such a weird reaction lol

EDIT: 21st October..
ahh! He put me on air!
The show started at 6.45 tonight and the DJ taught me how to use the equipment, then after an hour and a half let me put him on air, then a while later he put me on air. He told me not to be so nervous, so that the next time i went air there was more expression etc in my voice. So by the time the end of the show came i was so relaxed with speaking on air and guess what...
He wants me to do the show with him tomorrow!!

haha I so will play Travis, im just on trial now so I've to play what i'm told but i'll make sure to slip them in oneday im not on trial.
I can't wait to start, all ive ever wanted was radio

ok ok anything with loads of chocolate.. maybe not digestive. They're a bit scabby with the chocolate coating.
