I agree! I wouldn't be able to participate if the showdown was before the 4th. This might be asking too much, but it'd be nice to have time after the 4th to become acquainted with the album as well so as to make better judgements during the showdown, ensuring fairness... :) |

Yep, it's gonna be about 3 or 4 weeks of continual build up, can we manage it? lol. Maybe we could try and get the word "showdown" into a post every single day from now until the launch. :P
In the mean time I'll get Neil to play a continual drum roll in the background for a few weeks, slowly getting louder and louder and then ending with a massive blast of the gong. Sound good? |

Funky lizard there
A showdown is where Travis songs battle it out. Basically songs are randomly paired up, these pairs are called 'battles' and boardies choose which song wins the battle. The winner goes through to the next round, and it keeps going until one song is crowned Showdown champion. |
