Fran: "The thing I always find weird is you come to these things and we all stand in a room together, we stand beside people we've never met before, right? But we've all got something in common, hopefully, unless you're a journalist or something. So I think we should take this opportunity to turn to the person beside you who you don't know and say hello."
:( *goes in corner and cries*
LOL! Kidding...but c'mon, Fran! We're not all bad! :P If I ever get to interview you, you have my word I'll only write wonderful things. ;)
Cute idea though of having everyone shake hands with the people next to them. I've only met super nice people at Travis concerts.
Click here to watch...but turn it off before it gets to the song...it's unbearable to listen to with the dudes in the crowd singing, lol!

haha, poor Nikki! Dont take it as a personal insult. A journalist could be there to review the gig that isnt necessarily a fan (although they should be). But i dont think it was an anti-journalist statement. They just might not be the crazy fans that we all are, and therefore wouldnt have that fandom in common.
You are the shinning example of lovely journalists!
I know they did the handshake, meet your neighbour bit on the last tour, but not at my show, which made me sad. |

Lol! What's wrong with journalists?
It's very sweet that they all say hello to the person next to them :o) |

Quite a few of them are a-holes who abuse their power and write any unfair, biased crap they want.
But not me. :) |

Aww I'm doing journalism at uni, in my second year now, but yeah I'd only write the truth about you guys so you have nothing to worry about, like Nikki said, I'll only write good things about you too! I'm sure Fran would make exceptions for the boardie journalists! lol |

I like that speech. 'Cause anywhere else, doing that would make you look weird. But if Travis asks you, do it, and everybody gets to be happy together listening to good music. Even journalists. :) |

I always get anxious at that bit of Mass, I don't know why!
But yeah, Fran did that when I saw them last year, I was too excited to get anxious! |
