Now, dont get me wrong, they are my faveourite band. That aint a changing, but, who do you think nowadays are better than our bhoys but on the same kinda level?
Id say, in no particular order;
Kings Of Leon
Arcade Fire
Coldplay ( ok they are a tad more famous now )
No more I can think of really.

| No way! I don't think I could ever compare bands, as to who is 'better'- each band is so different from another in so many ways. For me, Travis are pretty darn hard to beat. |

Generally I like ALOT of other bands and I would go as far as saying that there is some bands I am more into then Travis at certain times (not right now tho, the new album and seeing then yesterday has def put them back to the top for me right now :P ) but I can't really say which band is better or best :) |

Coldplay!!!!????? whaaaat?
They're a more successful, richer, more famous band who write far, far worse songs. I kinda think Travis are the 'thinking man's Coldplay' these days. Far better. Fran is twice the songwriter Chris Martin will ever be.
With Ode, Travis have jumped right back to the top of my list. Ash are the only band I'd ever have considered 'better' to my ears, but they're no more. |

Coldplay isnt better than Travis!
So we cant to say which band is better than the other band.
We have favorites bands and i think that there are not a better band.
But i think that Oasis is a good one. (for the years of experience) |

Right Nikki - NONE !!!! ..and this issue are realy irrelevant on the board. You can´t compare any band with TRAVIS - the unique band.
Someone mentions coldplay..cold-booooring-play I asume.... |
