woot! another canuck! Hi!

The American release is Nov 4th, but the date of the Canadian release was never stated, so I assume it's going to be the same.
But im not waiting that long and ordered it from Amazon.com. Amazon.ca seems to have the Japanese import with yesterday as the release date, but it said it didnt know when it would be in stock, so I ordered it from the American Amazon (also an import) and am supposed to have it the week after next.

Hey fellow Canuck!
Thanks for the info and reply to my question. I don't think I can wait that long either so off to Amazon I go! Where are you in our great land? We live in Beaumont, Alberta.

Cheers

Andy

Oh Hamilton eh?
My wife is from Bondhead, Ontario. I am originally from the UK, Manchester to be precise, the home town of Oasis! I am now a Canadian citizen and very proud of it too!

It is Oilers country where we are but I have been a Red Wings fan since I was a kid. Get to see my boys play twice a year in Edmonton, sometimes more if I can get down to Calgary.

We are huge baseball fans too. My wife is a dedicated Blue Jays fan and my team is the Tigers. We flew to Detroit last year to watch both teams play.

Are you a Blue Jays/Leafs fan?

We also flew down to San Francisco to see Travis play at the Filmore. That was so cool. We didn't think they would ever come to Edmonton, but they did last November!! So we saw them twice in one year.

Check out my YouTube Channel, there are a couple of clips I filmed of Fran playing at a local radio station the day of the gig.

Cheers!

Talk to Nikki and Kayte (Turtleneck) they are Detroit girls and Wings fans.
Bleck, no! Not a Leafs fan! boo. I grew up a Habs fan, but went to univeristy in Ottawa and am now a huge Sens fan (but still love the Habs). I am a Jays fan though and pretty much drove off the road this summer when i heard they rehired Cito Gaston!!
I was pretty blown away that they played places like Edmonton last year! I saw them in Toronto in July. And they better be back soon *shakes fist* lol.
I know Bondhead. My neighbour's mom grew up there so i went to visit a few times as a kid.
Manchester! Good on ya! I love Oasis and saw them 3 weeks ago in Ottawa. Another question then, Man City or Man U?
Im really not from Hamilton! I swear! Im from Stoney Creek!

Oh well, it's WAY better than everyone being Leafs fans. They are a sad and pitiful bunch!

Hey,
Habs and Sens are OK. That's good. I just don't like Dallas, Colorado, Anaheim and the Oilers! ;-)

I was working at home on my laptop one night and Sportsnet was on in the background and I woke up the next morning thinking that I had dreamt that Cito Gaston was back at the Jays!! Too funny.

Yeah, it was amazing to see them in small venues. I am sure they will be back. They filled the Edmonton venue which was surprising.

What was your neighbours Mom called? My wife probably knows her!!

Manchester is a great city. I am a Man United fan too. Used to go with my Dad when I was a kid.

We saw Oasis in Edmonton a few weeks ago too. Great concert, we had good seats too. Glad you got to see them before Noel got mugged on stage!

We are going to Phoenix in November to see Coldplay. They cancelled their Edmonton and Calgary shows so my Wife got me tickets for father's day!
Counting the days!

Talk to you later,

Andy

If you dont like the Oilers, I probably shouldnt tell you that Mark Messier is my hero! lol
Yes, i saw them the show before the attack! Eeks! Great show. 19th row seats. fantastic. Wasnt Ryan Adams amazing? I ran into him before the show in Ottawa. Nice guy. Somewhere around here i have a thread about me stalking him, lol.
I saw Coldplay in June in Toronto and am going to Ottawa for the show and a Sens game the weekend after thanksgiving! I thought it was going to get cancelled like the ones out West, so im glad it didnt! And glad you still get to see them in Arizona!

haha, that's funny! I don't mind Messier, he was a great hockey player. I used to live in St. Albert where he is from. He is a local hero there. He even has an arena named after him.

Ryan Adams was awesome, I was so happy when he was supporting Oasis on the tour. Seeing two of your favourite bands in the same evening was cool. I have to read about you stalking him! ;-)

Can't wait for Coldplay. That should be good for you to see Coldplay and a hockey game in the same weekend. Phoenix are on the road when we go. Would have been cool if they were playing the Wings one night and then Coldplay the next. ;-)

Talk to you soon,

Andy

one of my best friends moved to Phoenix last year and has season tickets, so one day i will make it down there for a game. I was SO happy Ryan Adams was opening too! to see him and Oasis together was pretty incredible.
I cant wait for Coldplay! this will be the 3rd time i see them and they are always great! Have you seen them before?
Haha, believe me, i know about the arena in St Albert. Im a tiny bit obsessed (ie-the 'mess' in my username is for messier).
This thread used to be about Travis, lol.
Stick around the General thread, it's funny to combat Ric's Canadian stereotypes! And Nikki and I manage to change most threads into hockey threads somehow. Darran helps with that too. And Anne (Weirdmom) is on a mission to have Canadian money changed to be maple leaf shaped. Fun times on the travis board!

She means Canadianish money.

Hello! I'm originally from Detroit so I am a member of the "I've driven south to get to Canada" club.

I just thought of an idea and didn't know which thread to stick it in, lol! Since every thread is a hockey thread anyway, I'll just say it here. :P I'm going to buy a Red Wings hat before the Detroit show and throw it on stage in hopes one of the members of Travis will pick it up and wear it. YAY! Kayte...you can be in on it! It'd be like my two favorite things in the world coming together. lol.
