Are there videos of the recent performances of Falling Down on YouTube? I'd love to see them!

YES! GladSadMad has an amazing video on Youtube of Fran in the crowd in London during Falling Down. He went RIGHT up to him during the big "YEAH I'm Faaaaaaaaalllliiiiinnn" scream at the end of the song. SO cool.

Check it out

edit: this was on my b-day. yay. lol ;)

I wonder if this outpouring of love for "Falling Down" has to do with Travis performing it live recently on tour and Fran going out into the crowd.

You're right Nikki! I rediscovered this song and the Good Feeling album after the gig in London (I hadn't listened to it in ages). How can you not be affected by Fran singing this beautiful song just inches from your face????!!!

So true. I'm sure if Franny was right in front of me I'd feel the same. But, I still think The Cage is a better song...love 'em both though. I felt the same way after hearing "I Love You Anyways" in Detroit in 2007. I rediscovered how awesome it is.

Both Falling Down and The Cage are beautiful songs, filled with so much emotion! I wish they would play The Cage live too!

Here's a clip of Fran singing Falling down in Cambridge, includes someone screaming "Oh my god, thank you Fran!!" at the beginning, think it's hilarious!

I think Travis should put The Cage and Falling Down next to each other on future live setlists just as a cult reference to this showdown. :P

Woopsie, forgot to do the song showdown results. Ahem. Will put them up tomorrow as soon as possible. Well... as soon as I've had a nice lie-in and forced myself to do a bit of my essay work at least.
