Off the Florida Keys, there's a place called Kokomo
That's where you wanna go to get away from it all.
Bodies in the sand
Tropical drink melting in your hand
We'll be falling in love to the rhythm of a steel drum band
Way down in Kokomo.
Still pathetically desperate. |

Off lake Michigan, there's a place called Chicago
Thats where I want to go to get away from it all
Boardies in real life
Several varieties of drink in your hand (ya that doesnt rhyme, deal)
There will be a really awesome Scottish band
Way down at the ABC
I think we know why I am not a songwriter. Im going to stick to hockey haiku's. |

Aw that was cute. I suggest the following changes so it rhymes:

Boardies in real life
Girly and manly drinks to not cause strife
We'll be pogoing away but not to the sounds of a fife
Way down at ABC |

Oh yes bag pipes is better. Fife does bring up a U.K.-ness vibe in my mind but bag pipes are clearly Scottish and therefore more fitting.
(sidenote: I would pogo to bag pipes if Travis asked me to)
(second sidenote: also if Ewan asked) |

I too thought of Moray and his pink drink. But certainly somebody will man it up a bit, right? |

Everytime I come to this thread I get that Beach Boy's song stuck in my head and hum it the rest of the day. |
