Helsinki at 8.25 am: -1 °C, windy and snowing.
Total chaos, trams and buses late, cars stuck. We had 30 cm of snow yesterday and last night and today the forecast is promising 10 cm more.
The first snow "surprises" the drivers every year, but this is a bit more than your average first snow. |

been snowing since sat. 3hours ago it started to rain...2 hours ago it stopped - now the snow is all...wet- i guess...but sun's breaking through the clouds...looks great ;)

You're welcome! ;^) It's actually only spread, as it's still going on here, too. Pavements have turned into narrow paths, there doesn't seem to be enough snowploughs around. |
