I tell you now, it's Mothers... it's fairly clear if you hear a live recording.
I Mother, sorry, never really liked Coming Around much, but it's grown on me recently. |

I just had a listen to a live version from 2001 and even though it isn't clear, I would say it is probably mothers, but then why does it sound nothing like mothers on the studio version? It still sounds like never! :) Mothers fits so I'm pretty sure it is.
Oh and I love it. Always have. Top 10 Travis song. I love it! Never and all! |

| Couldn't someone please make a statistical analysis on how many people who hear "never", how many who hear "mothers", how many who think the correct word is "never" and how many think the correct one is "mothers"? Of course I would gladly have done it myself, except that I have better things to do. Or well, not really, because then I wouldn't sit here, but I get weird if I stare at the computer for too long, so I'd better go to bed now anyway. |

| I'm pretty sure it's mothers. As someone said, if you listen to a live version it's more obvious than on the originally recorded track. I would upload some versions for you, but my pc is acting up tonight.. Pretty sure you can find a few on that savefile project that's been posted here somewhere though. |
