I thought y'all would appreciate my brush with the law. It's one of those stories I am asked to tell a lot. Jessi actually found his twin brother when she lived in Denver and took him. He lives in my garden now.
I thought I'd put up the Statue of Liberty one along with two others that are randomly in my iPhoto library (I don't even remember scanning them in)

Don't judge my flannel!!! It was 1993!!

Here are some of us posing in front of the marquee outside of Carnegie Hall. I'm the one in the middle with my mouth open (reasons unknown). My baseball cap has the NYPD seal on it. Jessi was going for the immigrant look with the scarf around her head. |

Anne, I'm going to read your story now....
missed you guys too!
Why did the bunny eat the wedding ring?
Because he heard it was 18 carrots!
(sorry)
It was said we missed you, not the cheeseball jokes ;)
admittedly not one of my best, but you just can't beat a bad joke |

Cute photos, Anne. And there's no shame in embracing the grunge look of the early nineties... |

By "making" brownies I mean getting a box of Ghirardelli brownie mix out of the pantry...putting it in a bowl, adding oil, water and one egg, putting it a pan and baking for 40 minutes. :) |

I don't think we boardies really care how they are made, but just the fact that they are made and do exist and can be eaten :)
EDIT: Kiddos, I'm outta here. |

You can still "make" some for me when we meet. : )
Yeah well I don't think I was too grungy in those pics at least. But I worked the flannels and Doc Martens, that is for sure! |

By the way Jessi is still my best friend and we still do ridiculous things like this. Maybe not as extreme but we would if we could. |

Ok...only if you bring the famous banana bread!!
*looking in a huge box of photos for my 6th grade pic* - if I can't find it tonight I'll post it tomorrow. It's hilarious though. |

I will. I promise. Oh I can't remember which boardie had never heard of banana bread (one of the Argentineans I believe) but to help you imagine it better it's more like a cake bread than bread bread.
Considering how obsessed with food this board is I think we should all bring something to share....if it's easy to pack (so chili wouldn't work)
I'm going to watch Project Runway now. Ciao! |
