Hola! I mean, Hi! I'm not allowed to speak Spanish?
Anyways, I see a lot of Spanish speakers around here, so I'm welcome, right? |

Really, it is! English has too many rules, and then exceptions to those rules, and then more rules for those exceptions. It's weird, but I think learning Spanish Grammar helped me a lot with my English Grammar somehow.
That's funny, because one of the first things that english teachers tell you at school is : "In English there are no rules" :-D
What a load of b*ll*cks!!!! Any english teacher who says that doesn't deserve to get paid! |

Speaking of goodies that you can't get everywhere....my friend just got back from Australia and she brought me these cookies called Tim-Tams. Anyone heard of them or tried them? They are soooo delicious. I'm rationing them.
Penguins by any other name! |

did you know - you can now get different flavoured jaffa cakes - there's the usual orange, and lime and blackcurrant. Anyone spotted any others? |

I tried it! And it worked. But it was kinda messy because it got all melty and crumbly, but it was worth it. |
