LMAO. I don't know where Juancar is, hahaha. By the way, Juancar gave as a present to Hugo Chávez a t-shirt with a message... ¿POR QUÉ NO TE CALLAS? This is true! Hahaha.

LOL!

Yes, he is. I think Federer is also there ;)

Awwww man! Bob Costas was announcing and he said some flakc about how we were watching the latest in technology because it was live, but it was in cinematic view, you know? It looked like a live movie. I forgot how many footsteps they had, but they said they had them leading all around Beijing up to the bird's nest. And then at the end of the so-called cinema scope they cut away and then showed a footprint in live feed over the bird's nest so that's why I thought it was real... shucks.

The article I read said that they really did do those fireworks but it was just too difficult and potentially dangerous to film it so they did the animation thing.

That's not as bad as flat out fake to me.

even when it's true or not, england has to make it looks bad, just remember they had a big challenge for 2012, as many politicians they use to give a bad image from their rivals, in order to them look better,...

i still think it was amazing, china had the chance to pick few fragments of their 5 thousands years culture,
could england equal that ceremony?, maybe they know since would impossible,

funny quote i read about the whole kiddie lipsync thing

Didn't the late Pavarotti lip-synch his signature Nessun dorma aria from Turandot at the opening ceremony in Turin? Yes. But at least it was his own voice. Nobody said, "Listen, Luciano, you've kind of let yourself go, and there's not enough time for you to go on the South Beach diet. Julio Iglesias over here is still a good-looking man. We're going to have him lip-synch your song."

LOL. I assumed she was lip-syncing but I thought that it was still her voice.
