It's red for the Wings. ;)

There was a brand new metallic blue Vette, but I liked this one...

I'd go with Anne's suggestion; you need to do something alone, just the two of you. Isn't there a movie or an exhibition you could suggest? As far as I can read from your explanation, he's definitely interested :o)

I hope so. I just hate being the one to make the first move. Oh, well, I had a long good conversation with a friend earlier tonight and she had some good ideas ;) |

Just remember to let us (=me) know, how things are coming along, ok? This reminds me of a poem by Peit Hein:

Husk at elske mens du tør (remember to love while you dare)
Husk at leve mens du gør (remember to live while you do)

Sounds lovely! Do you think you'll make a wooly wedding cake? LOL
I did actually find the pattern for a crocheted wedding cake but it's far too flowery for my liking and would take about 10yrs to make!!

I had a friend who got her dress off of Ebay for $100. It was made new and mailed from China in an 8x12 envelope. She steam cleaned it and it was perfect!

That is sooo cool!! I wish I was brave enough to order a dress from the web but I'd be scared I wouldn't like it when it turned up!!
That cake is actually quite pretty but yes, I imagine it would take an insane amount of time. Perhaps you can make a wedding cupcake instead.

Her now husband thought she was insane but she figured $100 wasn't such a huge amount to risk. If it worked, huge savings. If it didn't, it was only $100. Of course she did pay a bit more for small alterations and steaming out the wrinkles so maybe total it was $300.

If you're thinking August though you don't really have time to see if that would work for you.

Do you have an idea of what you like? I am guessing more vintage since you're considering your nan's dress?

Um, I quite like vintage stuff...I do know that I definitely want a simple dress, I don't want to be a meringue! |

The grook in it's entirety (and the official English translation):

Live while you've got

    | Im gonna go to the airport and find me a pilot. He works for SAS, has an average of 570 flying hours a year and is on 1.6 million kroner a year!! I knew there was a reason I loved the pilot uniform. Few hours work might be a problem though, dont wanna go back to sharing the tv remote hmmm. |

Take job as a stewardess. That'll improve your chances.

Just remember to quit when you've found your man! lol |
