I want Christmas markets (1 week to go, yaay) and biscuits and Lebkuchen and Glühwein (=mulled wine, I think)... oooh my GOD I'm going to be even fatter than I'm now in a few weeks... *goes to the oven to check on her Vanillekipferl* (crescent shaped biscuits)...

Ahh, Glühwein… I've got some in store, thankfully the local offlicense stocks it before Christmas. I usually add a dash of Amaretto, lovely. It's still best to enjoy Glühwein at Munich Marienplatz Christmas market, home is not quite the same.
Anyway, today we might start the season, as it's a proper snow storm outside. I've just been for a longish walk, and it was freezing, -3,2 °C, north wind 10 m/s.
I feel sorry for the organisers of the official opening of the Christmas street today. There was a parade with Santa and elfs. |
