That game really sucked!! But, I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the Stars this season...they actually passed the first playoff round this time--and that hadn't happened in a while. And, I thought they did pretty good against the Wings, especially since they were down 3-0 at one point. Oh well...
Mary, I'm wondering who to root for now too! |

Damn...and the Wings cut playoff ticket prices nearly in half from last season. *sigh* ...
One of my best friends is getting married in a few weeks and she sent me a text last night that said: "What if the Wings are playing during my wedding? We'll need to bring in a TV for you." LOL.
EDIT: OMFG NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! She just called me and game four is May 31 the day she's getting married! WTF was she thinking! She's a huge Wings fan, too. :*(*****
At least I'll know to NOT get married in May or June. There should be some sort of rule. lol. |

Nikki, i feel your pain. My University grad was during game 4 of of the finals last year. They announced the score during it. At one point, when the Sens were winning, it got a bigger cheer than any person graduating! I wore a Sens pin on my grad robe that night and more than a few peopple flashed their Sens gear while walking across the stage to get their diploma. aww, memories! It was then a race to get your robe off, get your jersey on, and run to the nearest pub, house, or City Hall to watch the game where they had a 5 story high screen outside to watch every game. |

| OMGosh Kristy! The SAME thing happened to me! I graduated from high school in 2002 and our commencement ceremony was held during the Western Conference finals GAME 7 against the AVS! I mean, come ON! I was dying!!!!! Luckily, a few of my fellow classmates snuck radios in under their graduation gowns and whispered the score to those around them. When the principal announced at the end of the ceremony that the Wings had defeated the Avs 7-0 the place went nuts!!! :D (They went on to win the cup that year). I'll never forget that! |

| There was an SUV with a Pens flag on it infront of me on the way to work this morning. I thought about running it down, but then realized that the Wings would just do that for me on Saturday. |
