I was thinking it makes sense to have a thread where you say whether or not you want to do this. So for example Kayte starts and she looks at the thread and sees who posted right beneath her. Why it's Abs! So she gets her address and sends it on. Then once Abs has had her way with Stanley (or Travis) she goes to the thread and sees that Ric is next, gets his contact info. Etc. etc.

Nikki had a fun idea that I'll let her share.

Oh! Ok...this was my idea. Once we get the Flat Travis Project (FTP) established on the board and people start sending it around, I thought it would be really fun for someone at a gig this summer to hand him over to Travis and they could have some time with FT, post photos, etc. and then Travis could pass him along to another boardie at a different gig to keep it going. How cool would that be?!?!? :D

Kayte, your husband is a great sport for making FT for us, LOL! Good to know all his graphic design schooling is being put to good use!

I think they might. :) They're obviously, as we all know, very interactive with their fans and are the nicest, coolest band in the universe. So why not!? hahaa. FTP! FTP! :D

Just scanned in the Flat Stanley I made in 1st grade. He's still lookin' pretty spiffy with his little sweater vest! :) I'm reading the letter now from the family I sent him to in Poland...they took him to the farm, the beach and to church for their little boy's First Communion. How cute!

He looks kinda like Fran. lol!

It would take some organization, but I think we could do it. It would be really cool for FT to go on a leg of the tour!

Ha ha, well, my husband didn't really know what he was volunteering for when I asked him.
"Hon, could you print something for me at work?" Sure.
"Would it be too much trouble to put some heavy-duty lam on it?" No problem.
"So, if I wanted to print a picture...what kind of res would I need? What DPI? Could you help with some PhotoShop, too?" He kinda got suspicious at that point. But he's a nice guy and he humors me with this Travis stuff.
