Does anyone have a particular performance that really moved them? |

Well... when they played Writing To Reach You here in Buenos Aires, but that has a lot more to do with the fact that it was my first Travis gig ever after all these years and that song is one of my favourite songs ever... I get chills every single time I listen to it / watch a video of it. |

I think this is my favorite performance of "Why Does It Always Rain On Me?" I don't know why. I think it's the energy of the band, Fran's voice, and all of the umbrella's bobbing up and down in the crowd along with the audience echoing the chorus. So good.

Here it is!
I love the bass in it and the pure energy of the performance. Mesmerizing indeed.
I think this performance is my favorite this far...pure energy indeed... |

- Driftwood
- Flowers In The Window (especially the part "...to plant new seeds and watch them grow so there'll be flowers in the window when we go")
- Selfish Jean (because it was their first song at the Zurich concert)
- Closer

Too many to list but Humpty Dumpty takes the cake. In particular, the moment that struck my mind upon reading the thread title was the bit on the first live disc when the lights overwhelm the camera as Franny sings "the sun upon my forehead...". Brilliant song, you just became perfect. |

I can't remember if I posted here before or not, but never mind.
I was listening to Beautiful Bird earlier, that's a really uplifting, chills-inducing song. :) |

That one is on my myspace page! I agree. One of the best WDIAROM performances I've seen!
Here are some of my other favorite live performances:
As You Are, Glasgow
Turn from the same show
All I Want To Do Is Rock feat. Noel Gallagher
Side from Letterman
Selfish Jean on Later With Jools
Sing on Later With Jools
Rocky version of The Fear
Closer, Top Gear
Pipe Dreams...from...looks like a UK TV show
PS: Pipe Dreams is probably the No. 1 Travis song that's not a single that should be in my opinion. There are SO many that could be though. |

Most of them do, naturally.
On the music video of Writing To Reach You's, when Andy's solo comes and the plane is trying to shoot Fran (poor thing), I always have goosebumps. It's a brilliant scene. |
