Hmmm, my post above wasn't quite a line I suppose. I will rectify thew problem by nominating the whole of Driftwood as my favourite line, that's one good analogy!

Just about every line in "20", but how about

"You're my queen, and I dream about you when I'm in my bed..." I wish someone would say that about me!

And in Happy:

I'm gonna tell you what I've been thinking
I've got a hunch that you're thinking the same thing
And with some luck we'll be lying together tonight

And many more that have been mentioned.

More Than Us is such a good song lyrically (and not bad musically either).
Also, I love the end of Last Train,

"rear window with the room in the hair
and on her jacket there's a picture in white of che guevara
as he sits beneath the tree
but that's not important
but he looked a bit like me
if you took all the little feelings in your heart
and took all those little feelings all apart
oh well now what's the point in doing all of that"

You just know there's some kind of back story and it seems so personal *melts away into Fran's emotions*

I always wondered what that last part of "Last Train" was about, too. Has Fran ever explained it? Would be interesting to know what he was thinking...I'm sure theres some kind of story behind it.

Perfect Heaven Space:
"In my perfect heaven space
there's a picture of you
to think of all the time i've wasted
not looking at you "

I fell in love with that verse

Dear diary: "cos I'm fine between the lines"
Pipe Dreams: "what had you heard? was it love, was it take another walk in the dark"
Sing: "baby...there's something going on today...but I say nothing..." (kind of playful xD)

uff!
etc! etc! etc!

'Every day I wake up alone because, I'm not like all the other boys'

I've always liked that line (among millions of others xD), 'cause it makes me think about being different and how sometimes no one gets it!

P.S That's a fucking mint username by the way. Approve.

Great line. However, 'no time to lose' makes me think of Monty Python's sketch 'no time Toulouse'. (Yeah Sina, go on and tell me that I quote them too much! lol)

Another favourite :-

"Cause your head is a brick wall, and your heart is a football, and your eyes, broken windows, when you cry, it's a good day to die"

I was listening to the re-offender album last night and I have to say the extra secret song "Take a pill, dont tell me how to feel.Bad news in two's, sing it from the heart. Sing me some sad song" It goes something like that...I love it.
I'll post some more when I have time ;)

Cool:) I like it because it's a quite inexplicable phrase, what is it to be fine only between the lines? To read between the lines is to see the hidden facts and truth, and I think what Fran meant when he wrote "Dear Diary" is that he is feeling very sad
