Okay, I finally have a minute to post my gift from Nora...
Here's the box and my kitty checking the box out.
And here's what was inside:
Nora gave me a lovely photo album filled with wonderful photos of Zurich and the surrounding area of what life is like for her. She also gave me some yummy Swiss chocolate! Thank you so much Nora!!! I love it! |

Just about 20 minutes ago I got my present from Meridith! Gee, she def. knows what I like!!! :)
I was veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery happy and still am by what I found here! And I already found a place for everything she sent me! Ohhhhhhhh this was such a cooooool idea!!!
so here are some pics, my camera's broken so had to use my mobile which takes horrible pictures...so everything that's slightly violet should be blue etc. etc.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas!! I finally had time to get my butt to the post office yesterday to pick up my present from Alma! I was so excited, I opened it right in the car in the post office parking lot, LOL!
OK...here is what I got!
Everything came in the Red Wings bag. At first, I thought "how did she find this in Mexico?!" But it's handmade!! Alma's mom made the bag and Alma painted it! It's so perfect it looks store-bought! There was one more candy that's not in the picture because I already opened it. It's like a fruit-rollup basically but with REAL fruit, not like the kind we have here. The pretty blue scarf is hand-made in Mexico and so is the jewelry! Oh, and so is the cute little Mexican doll, which my mom put on our Christmas tree. I love it, Alma! Thank you so much!!! |

minnmess wrote: Im glad you like it. Sorry the mittens are too small!
I have a pair and they do stretch, so maybe they will work after all, or yes, pass them along. To someone cold. Maybe a kind looking homeless person. One that looks like they would enjoy Canada.
We don't have a lot of homeless persons in this town but if I do see one who looks like they'll enjoy Canada, then... ;)
I guess having big hands (and really big feet for that matter) is one of the side effects of being about 6 feet tall. But I think I'll wear the mittens a couple of times just to see if they'll stretch :)
I've almost eaten all the candy... Yummy! I love those treacle ones. |
