OOOOhhh that is exciting! I love it! I'm curious as to what the story behind it was...if there was one? And did they call it Side Wide Open? I feel like the boardies coined that one. |

That was the very last song of the evening, by request. No story. They were going to just do Side and then a guy yelled out, "Do it with Eyes Wide Open!" and Fran & Andy just kinda looked at each other like, oh, man. But when the change was about to start, Andy glanced over at Fran and they went ahead into EWO. It was cool. Poor Fran's fingers were really sore by the end of the night.
I gave up on trying to get pictures. They're all bad. My camera just doesn't do well in low light environments. There was some guy there with a big honkin' camera who was from some Detroit Metro Blog or something, maybe Nikki will remember the exact name. There should be some decent pictures from that if we can find it. |

Kristy, I thought it said that at first but when I squinted really hard, I realized it actually said, "We are the world." The back said, "C. Lauper," I think. He must be saving the "I love you, Kristy" shirt for when he sees you in Toronto. |
