This is no joke--The score was 2-0. I had to go downstairs to switch the laundry from the washer to the dryer and put in a new load. It was the extremely lucky WHITE TOWEL load. I went back upstairs and the score was 3-0!

Someone must have done the entire neighborhood's laundry! Argh, Dallas pretty much just handed the win over to Detroit. Not that Detroit didn't play well, we just sucked! Anyway, it would've been hard to win again at The Joe...
So, question is...Should I route for the Pens or the Red Wings?! :) |

Darran, the Pens are too young, far too inexperienced and I've seen their goalie give up plenty of juicy rebounds that I can totally see Zetterberg and Datsyuk jumping all over. The Wings offense is just as good as the Pens offense and they'd better watch out if we get Franzen back. The Wings are so deep...they're playing without the NHL's #1 playoff scorer- Johan "The Mule" Franzen right now. The cup is won with great team defense and that's really where the Pens just don't match up. The Pens haven't run into a puck-possession team like Detroit yet. This is going to be a sweet series!!!! GO WINGS! :D

You guys did a heck of a job though. I don't think anyone expected Dallas to go as far as they did. Especially toppling the hated defending cup champs and everyone’s cute pick at the beginning of the playoffs...the Sharks. On that note, (hehe) I think you should root for the Red Wings since you have nice boardie friends who are from Detroit. No one here is from Pittsburgh. :) |
