I like the hat idea...and even the candy or postcard idea too. I need to participate this next time. |

Dubz' idea is SO very tempting but I like getting something unique to the country in some way. And I like food.
My weird thought is something like a box of cereal but that could be expensive shipping wise.
So maybe non-chocolate candy (due to the melt factor). |

CANDY :D
OR I like the idea of pen pals too. I don't know about anybody else, but it is so nice to receive actual mail. But a letter could always just be added to candy. |

Haha. I heart cereal. That would be fun. There are always those mini boxes. At least here. I don't know about other parts of the world. |

Those mini boxes, if available, are usually international stuff, like Kellogg's. Not much point to exchange small boxes of Corn Flakes.
I like the idea on paper, though.
Lilly sent me a nice postcard with her mix, that was cool.
What about a typical souvenir, a small one? |

Whoop whoop! I love exchanges!
I love the Candy and Postcard ideas! Really good and yes we should all send a letter with them. I didn't really have the chance to do that last time.
Something unique to your country too like a gift is brilliant. It could be like Christmas presents to the boardies....secret Santa???? That way everyone gets a lil gift :) |

That's a great idea!!
(I loooove the Secret Santa idea, but that would be much work for one of us - one boardie would have to organise the whole thing without participating... But if there's someone who'd like to organise it, maybe we could do a "Very-typical-souvenir-from-my-country - Secret-Santa", a VTSFMC-SS ;), that'd be great :D We'd have to set a price-limit, though.)

Darran, your new picture is freaking me out.
VTSFMC (very typical souvenir from my country) - Ha ha!!
I like the candy idea.
The gift exchange is cool, doesn't necessarily have to be SECRET Santa.
I'm a great pen pal.
I have enough of my own bodily fluids and pants.
Whatever it is, something small and light! The cookie exchange was kinda expensive. Totally cool, but expensive. |

if we want to do a VTSFMC-SS i dont mind organizing it. Although...would it work? you have to have the person's address, which means they are kinda going to know. Unless everyone agrees to give the organizer (moi) their addresses that i can then distribute to their secret santa.
I can be Mrs Claus, behind the scenes. |
